Holiday Light Shows

One of my favorite activities at this time of year is driving around to see all the holiday light shows. There’s so much creativity and so many visually stunning pieces of light-art to see. Did you know that there are some great holiday light shows to visit? Here’s some of the best ones in the state to check out!

In New Haven County, the Fantasy of Lights is a can’t miss display. It takes place at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven, and is open seven days a week from 5PM until 9PM (Sunday-Thursday) or 10PM (Friday, Saturday). For just a $10 admission per car, it’s unbeatable – and you’ll be in for one incredible treat! For more information, Click Here.

Taking a trip to Meriden for the Festival of Silver Lights is one stop you should be sure to make. You can walk through and get up-close and personal with some incredibly detailed and inspired light displays. It’s free to visit and open daily from 5PM until Midnight.
