Old Saybrook in Middlesex Connecticut is a historical gem

Old Saybrook is one of the oldest towns in Connecticut and dates back to 1635 when Old Saybrook was just a colony known as the Saybrook Plantation. The town was the site of the 1636 Pequot Conflict.  In addition, Yale University was also founded in Old Saybrook as a Collegiate School to educate ministers in the 1700.

This lovely, quaint town is situated where the Connecticut River meets Long Island Sound. It offers miles of beautiful shorelines, breathtaking views, marinas, public beaches, several parks and open spaces.
